Adopt
Is your family considering adopting an animal? Here's where you can find everything you need to know about our adoption process!
What is a "non local" dog?
We occasionally work with shelters and rescues in the South Eastern US to transport and find homes for dogs in need. Transporting these animals requires us to pay for not only their trip to Massachusetts, but also their mandatory 48 hour quarantine period once they come into the state. The adoption fee for these dogs and puppies are higher due to these additional costs.
Please Note:
Some non-local puppies come to us too young for surgery, so rather than have them wait in the kennel until they're old enough, we may choose to adopt them out before their spay or neuter. In this case, there is an additional $50 refundable deposit attached to their adoption fee that will be returned to the adopter upon bringing them back for their procedure.
On adoption day you will need:
-
your adoption fee (we accept cards, cash, and personal checks)
-
a carrier (if adopting a cat)
-
a harness and leash (if adopting a dog)

Did you know?
The average price of a spay/neuter in the local area can cost upwards of $500? This doesn't include their exam, vaccinations, or any necessary testing!
